There was great networking and golf travel promotion going on from companies across the world as the Côte d'Azur region was displayed to the world, with its magnificent cuisine and excellent hospitality. This rendezvous of international golf has a special resonance with the Ryder Cup heading to France in September 2018. It will be only the second time that the golf 's greatest team competition will have be hosted in Continental Europe and the first time that France has had the honour. Le Golf National, the regular venue for the French Open on the European Tour, will be the battleground, where it has a capacity for up to 80,000 spectators, creating a stadium atmosphere. The star-studded US team will travel to Paris with the aim of becoming the first American team to win away L RYDER CUP CAPTAINS HIT OFF THE EIFFEL TOWER
